I am crocheting a blanket and really enjoy working with this yarn. The yarn is so soft.

    Colour

This wool was much more turquoise than shown on the picture - I was going for a sky blue. As it is a gift, I am disappointed that it won't match!

    Bernat small ball blanket yarn

Posted by Laura Armitage on 2017 Jan 12th

I have worked with a lot of Bernat blanket yarn, baby blanket yarn, brights and other bulky Bernat products. I LOVE the way they work up, the softness and everything about them EXCEPT that there are too many joins in the balls. The smaller balls seem to be particularly bothersome, often having 2-3 joins within the ball. Very frustrating and too many ends landing in the same vicinity on the finished products. Bernat, please do something to improve this.....

    Overall good.

Over all with what I received I am pleased. Aside from most balls having a lot of ends tied together. And the first ball I used had a stray piece of yarn stuffed in the middle that caused a nightmare knot to undo and then half way through the ball there was a flaw with the yarn that I had to cut out a large section as it was not usable.
