Meadow Stripes Kroy Socks Yarn
Love Kroy Socks Yarn. The striping is irregular (even stripes irk me) but frequent, the yarn is satisfyingly squishy, and the colour selection excellent. Makes knitting a simple sock fun, and for certain patterns (e.g. the Broken Jack) this sort of yarn is a necessity.

Prettier than the Sample, easy to work with
Sturdy yarn, pleasant to work with. Like so many of the Kroy Sock yarns, the swatch Paton's uses to display the colourway isn't a good reflection of the actual product. This colourway is much prettier than that shown. The actual product is a bit brighter and transitions with an alternating stripe pattern through the red end of the rainbow - red and pink to eventually green and light blue. The display swatch shows only the odd transition from green / blue back to pink and almost looks like it clashes. With the Kroy yarn, regardless of the display swatch, you can always trust the actual product will be attractive.

great for socks
Really happy that this yarn did not have any knots in the balls and so a pair of socks worked up beautifully. Nice to knit, no thick and thin areas and it matches the colour shown.

Wonderful yarn
This is one of the nicest sock (1) weight yarns. It stays twisted, doesn’t have slubs. It is easy to use and knits up great. I have made gloves and toques so far. My 91 year old Aunt found some Kroy in her darning basket and remembers it as the first good yarn she ever used. Lovely stuff!

Great Colours for a Sock!
This yarn is not quite as soft as other Kroy Sock Yarns that I have purchased, which is why I gave it four stars. Other than that, the yarn knits beautifully and the colours are wonderful!
