Warm and thick
This pure wool crochets up into heavy, warm garments. I paired a strand with Cascade Whirligig yarn to make a lovely warm sweater coat perfect for making the cold of Winter more comfortable.

I like the yarn
I've used this yarn in the past and really enjoyed working with it. It has a warm and tidy texture, and both knits and crochets well. The last two times I've ordered it, i've been disappointed to find that it had knotted instead of spun joins, and there were sections where the spinning was so loose that the strands separated. These things were not characteristic of the yarn a few years ago.

Fisherman Yarn
I finally found the yarn I needed and it was from a Canadian company. I ordered what I needed and it was shipped. Due to Covid and delays it was still not here in 2 weeks but the visa bill for it was! Amazing how the bills were right on schedule but orders were not. I notified Yarn Canada and they got right on it with investigation and answers then notified me back My order came 2 days later. Thank you Yarn Canada I will be ordering from you again.

Excellent pure wool yarn for certain knitting jobs

Almost Vintage
I chose this wool for a Fair Isle sweater for a friend, and I love it. Excellent quality. The pattern is from the late 1980s, and this wool adds to the authentic vintage look.
