Purple plum Bernat blanket wool
A little disappointed while knitting a blanket. One ball of above wool has only completed 3 stripes while the second colour I am using will easily complete 5 stripes. I have photo if you would like to see. I never weigh the wool and always assume it is a full weight as said.

Purple Plum Blanket Yarn
I’m crocheting a blanket and the plum is the main colour which gives it a rich look! Disappointed that some of the balls have knots which I cut out and some of the threads aren’t as thick as they should be. Overall happy with this purchase.

Colour!!
The colour in the picture showed a shiny kind of plum colour. I did expect it to be a little more mute in terms of its brightness. What I noticed from the colour was it's a bit duller but the colour is still gorgeous. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could because it doesn't bother me too much. Just make sure to know that there's no shine anymore.

Great yarn, terrible name
I love Bernat Blanket yarn. It's incredibly soft and squishy when it's knit up. It has zero give when knitting with it though. It tends to trigger my carpel tunnel, so I plan extra time and take lots of breaks. Also, I feel Bernat is not very good at naming their yarns. I wouldn't call this purple or plum. It's actually burgundy and, at least on my screen, it looks just like the photo. The fact that it's called purple plum had me agonizing over ordering it online. It looked right, but the name was deceiving. I really needed yarn in the red family, and I'm happy with what I got.

Soft and colorful
The Bernat Blanket yarn is wonderfully soft. Easy to work up into beautiful projects. The Purple Plum color is a very deep burgundy. Looks great in natural and artificial light.
