Quality for a Great Value
Briggs & Little Country Roving is 5 stands of unspun roving held together to create a light and airy super bulky yarn. Each of the strands is a bit delicate on it's own and can break easily if you are rough with it when handling. I wouldnt recommend this yarn for an absolute beginner knitter. I used 10mm and 12mm needles for hats and cowls and love the chunky look and the relatively soft hand of the fabric. The yarn smells sheepy, a quality I really enjoy. I love the yardage on these yarn cakes too! I can get 2 hats and a headband out of one. I am a big fan of this yarn and consider it a bargain. Additionally proud to say it's from a Canadian company! Kudos Briggs & Little for this innovative yarn.
