    Baby Blanket

I made a baby blanket with this wool and I love it. I am a novice knitter but the wool certainly did it’s job.

    Great yarn - greater service

Posted by Happy Customer on 2020 Dec 11th

I am knitting an Aran sweater for my granddaughter. It is the greatest challenge I have taken on in my knitting career so far and turning out beautifully with this yarn I ordered from Yarn Canada. Partway into the project I feared I might be short. I was absolutely delighted by the service I got when I tried to order one more ball (as insurance) and needed to match the lot number. They were amazing and really showed their excellent customer service in responding to my email quickly and most importantly putting my anxious mind at ease. They took the timer o match my lot number and communicate their ability to do that almost immediately. As it turns out - I probably won’t need that extra yarn but WOW - first class personalized service!

    Nice yarn

Posted by Catherine on 2019 Jun 7th

This yarn is beautifully soft, not scratchy in the least, comes in beautiful colours, and one ball contains “miles” of yarn! It is consistent in thickness, and is lovely to knit with - stitches are always perfectly smooth and even. However, there are a couple issues worth mentioning. First of all, it does pill, but then many yarns do, we know this, not a big deal. The bigger issue is that it stretches a lot when washed (it is superwash). I have found that garments actually quite drastically increase in size because of stretching, so the knitter needs to know that. I still recommend buying and knitting with it.
