My new favorite yarn for baby and toddler

Posted by Pam Moxon on 2021 Mar 18th

Excellent yarn. The acrylic/wool blend works well for my baby outfit. Great stitch definition. Acrylic offers softness suitable for a newborn while the wool provides great body. Finished garment washed well. I laid it flat to dry and it kept it's shape, no shrinkage looked like new. I rarely use yarn with acrylic because I find it usually pills with wear but not this yarn. I will definitely use it again.

cascade pacific outfit for new atlantic baby

Posted by Pam on 2021 Feb 10th

This yarn knits very nice. It has a soft hand and has good body. It is easy to work with and has great stitch definition. I would have rated it 5 stars but the yarn arrived with some dirty spots. I wasn't sure it was dirty looking at the skein so I knitted my baby outfit and there are a few spots that are noticeable in the finished garment. I am hoping I can spot clean as this is a gift which I can not send as is.

This is such a nice yarn to work with. It's soft and easy to knit or crochet with and I just love the added warmth of some merino wool! It also has a nice drape too. It's just a great yarn and I will be buying more!
