Hard to match balls
I had to order extra balls to finally manage to match colours for cast on. I did give it a four star though because the colour variations are so lovely. Judy be careful that you’ve matched correctly before starting.

Great yarn, fun colours. Knits into a very interesting stripe pattern
Enjoyed seeing what came next with this yarn.

Kroy Sock Yarn
Love the colours. Did have trouble starting at the same colour point so have ordered two more balls to help me sort that issue out. First pair of socks with this weight yarn so it will become easier!

Poor colour combo
Colours in yarn don’t go well together

Great sock wool
I have used this wool many, many times for socks and it is durable, washes well and my family loves their socks.

I owe you a good review!
My last review gave you a one star because the yarn i received was nothing like the colours in the photo. I wanted blues and blacks and received reds and pinks . However, the yarn knits and washes well, and you have now added a pic that properly shows the colours. Well done! I did use the yarn to knit socks for lady friend for Christmas. A neighbor saw them and asked me to make a pair for her too. Hence my reordering and i can assure everyone the photo shows the correct colours. Well done again.

Overall Good Yarn with a few caveats
Kroy Sock overall is a good workhorse yarn. I did find a couple knots in one skein of self striping but done so the patterning wasn't off. Skeins do not start at the same point in the patterning, not even close, so if you want to make matching socks you will have some waste to start at the same point. If larger than an average woman's size you may then need contrast heels and toes/cuffs, particularly if trying to match stripes. I pulled yarn off to the same point, then cut and started winding with the cut end in the middle so that if I needed the extra I would still be going in the right direction with the striping when reattaching the beginning part of the skein. For the Dad's Jacquard colour, it looks like a nice deep purple in the photo by mine was more a fushia pinky purple. I wish it was a darker purple like shown.
