It's exactly the emerald dark green in the picture and is super thick without being heavy. It would work great for sweaters!

The Bernat Softee Chunky Dark Green yarn I purchased was a gorgeous shade of green. It was very soft and cozy and held together well when knit - loved working with it!

Finally a good green!
I spent ages looking for a nice dark green yarn and had more trouble finding one than I expected to. Just as I was worrying I would have to settle on a green I didn't really like, I found this! It looks quite black in the photo, but in person it is a beautiful deep foresty green. It held up well while I made several scarves with it. Very happy with this cozy yarn!
