    Beautiful hardy yarn

I ordered this yarn for a sweater and was pleased when it arrived a couple of days later. A week after that I had a beautiful sweater knitted up. It promises to be longer lasting than my usual products which have been 100% wool. Nice yarn to work with and feels nice to wear. I will be ordering more in the future.

    Perfect Sock Wool!

Posted by Vickie on 2018 Oct 4th

This is the best wool for warm and cozy socks as well as other garments. It's not overly soft but does soften up a little after washing. I love that it's not overly processed wool. Sometimes you may find a piece of hay in the wool but it's not a big deal. The best part is that it's a strong and durable wool and it makes wonderfully warm socks. There's a really nice assortment of colors too and the price is really impressive. Great company Briggs and Little!

    Not Too Tough To Wear

Posted by Sharon on 2018 Jun 6th

Briggs & Little makes good yarn. Good, long wearing, good looking yarn that works as hard as you do. Yes, it feels a little rough when you first touch it but it gets softer as you work with it. And yes, you have to pick little bits of hay out of it as you knit but that just proves this yarn is minimally processed leaving protective oils in the wool. This is the perfect yarn for winter, spring & fall!

    Good "tuff" yarn

Posted by Unknown on 2016 Nov 16th

But I was hoping for sock yarn and there is no way I'd make socks out of this, it's too thick. But colors are lovely, just what I wanted and I'm making a rug - which should be be very durable. I will buy more to finish the rug.
