A little thicker than most worsted yarns, giving a nice thick product. The stripes are long and you can make wonderful circular shawls with large wedges of colour (Premier Pinwheel Color Wheel shawl). Well twisted and doesn’t untwist as you’re knitting...(I hate that). It has slubs, not a lot, and you can usually pick them out. Knots are rare. The most common problem is that the colour sequence from ball to ball is different, which means youhave to retie the yarn in the middle of the cake to keep the colour sequence the same. My daughter picked up a cake and said it was really soft. Everyone who got a shawl was thrilled. I love the colours! Frequently they look even better knit up. Bernat makes quality products.
