    Excellent yarn doubled

I do not feel the yarn spin as a medium. I had to double the threads. It is a lovely, economical product though. I would buy it again.

    Nice Yarn

It's a bit scratchier than I thought it would be but it is 100% wool. It knits up lovely. Good reliable product.

    Versatile and durable

Posted by Prairie Toller on 2020 Apr 16th

Purchased for colourwork mittens and hats and am not disappointed with the colours or the quality. It's a tough and durable yarn that gets softer with wear and is not too rough on the hands when knitting. I also like to support our Canadian mills and suppliers. Keep up the good work!

Sturdy yarn but soft to knit

Posted by Unknown on 2019 Dec 31st

I used this yarn to knit a hat for a guy in Newfoundland. The yarn is sturdy so will hold up well, but it was actually soft on my hands to knit with. It made a great warm hat.

    Lovely colors, 100% canadian

Honestly my only complaint is that there is still a very small amount of hay/grass/vegetation in some of the yarn, but it is easy to pull out.

    100% Canadian wool

Posted by Susan Tymchuk on 2017 Feb 8th

So nice to have Canadian wool. I bought this to knit a sweater. This would be suited more for socks, slipper or mitts as it is a bit coarse, unlike a wool blended with alpaca. I am going ahead with the sweater as it will work well worn with a long sleeve top and should be wonderfully warm!
