A pleasure to knit with. Colours are very vibrant.
Canadiana is the best quality worsted acrylic I have worked with. I used it in my knitting machine and it performed smoothly. It was a nice vibrant colour that I used to knit a blue berry baby hat.
The vibrancy of the royal blue is eye catching. In knitting a sweater for my granddaughter, I chose a more challenging pattern than previous projects. Several times I had to rip back my progress, and worried that the yarn would show undue stress. Not so! Even when re-doing the same section more than three times this yarn withstood the punishment. Very pleased with the colour, softness, and twist. Since it’s a gift, I haven’t washed it. I have used Canadiana for years and years and not been disappointed in it’s longevity. Would definitely choose this product again. And Would buy from Yarn Canada again. Service is reliable, fast, and orders are accurately filled.
I am making boot style slippers for my Grandson blue is his all time favourite colour. I have used this yarn before, it is great for many different projects. The same for all the yarn I ordered today, those colours are for other Grandchildren. I love shopping with Yarn Canada. Your variety of Brands and colours is wonderful and your service is the best when ordering yarn. If I had one wish it would be for you to have more choices for knit boot style slippers. Thank you
Finished garments are very soft for next-to skin wear. Knits up great. I have used for fair isle colour work without any difficulty. Washes up easily in machine (in a mesh garment bag to prevent too much wringing and pulling on garment). The unfortunate trade off for all the softness is some pilling and surface fuzzing.
I have knit or crocheted 130 hats for the maternity ward at my local hospital. Since discovering Paton's Canadian yarn it is what I will co';ntinue for baby hats. It is so soft, easy to work with and very washable which is great for new Mom's
This yarn is great for a budget yarn, probably my favourite. Very soft, and works very nicely with only very minor splitting. The colours are vivid and fabulous. Haven't washed it yet, so hopefully it holds up to that. Would definitely recommend this yarn!
