Fun variation of colours fir knitting socks. You have to plan a little to have the variation match for both socks. Very warm
I'm a big fan of Patons Kroy for warm wool socks that are durable. This colourway was fun to knit as the patterns and colours emerged. Socks are sturdy and warm.
Soft and wears like iron
The yarn was perfect for knitting socks although it took a lot of effort to get the skeins to have the same colors to begin knitting so the socks look alike when finished. I had to unroll several feet (like more than 30') of yarn of each skein before I was able to recognize the color pattern. I did knit socks in the past with variegated yarn and the color pattern has never been so off. I used 2.75mm needles and started with 52 stitches for women socks but I have very small ankle and feet. The end result was great!
This was a joy to work with and look at when my socks were finished. I will purchase more of this item.
Paton's Kroy variegated sock wool is wonderful. My go to for perfect size 9 ladies socks. (9 inch cuffs using 2.75 and 64 stitches. ) Fast knit and easy on the hands. Knit a pair in a snow storm day.
