The Lion Brand company was founded in New York City in 1878 and has been family owned and operated for 5 generations. Lion Brand began the trend for novelty yarns in the mass market with their famous Wool-Ease, Wool-Ease Thick and Quick, and Heartland yarn. Lion Brand is known for creating yarns that are on trend with today's styles such as the very popular Mandala yarn.
