So Soft, Just Dark Enough
I used this yarn to make the Lush Life Blanket (check it out on Yarnspirations - I have 2 more on the go now because it is so lovely). I paired this color with North Sea and the blanket is just gorgeous! This block of color really shows off the beautiful texture of the pattern. It doesn't match North Sea EXACTLY - but it's close enough, no one but me knows. What I find interesting is: I would say that North Sea, and all of the Bernat Yarns that are multicolored, are SOFTER, but somewhat more thin. I find the Bernat Yarns that are solid like Lapis are DENSER and so a bit stiffer, but of course: still beautifully soft. For whatever reason the multicolored yarn is fluffier. As for the comments below: I had no issues with staining, but my hands are very, very dry. I will wash this on cold the first couple of times because, I mean, even blue jeans run - right? But I am not too worried about it because even if it runs a little I don't have a white in my project. As for the color itself: I would call this a NAVY blue. It was really hard to tell from the pictures how blue it was, and it is not as dark as some pictures show, but at least it didn't come out Royal Blue. It was the Navy I was looking for. Great yarn.

NON COLOURFAST BERNAT BLANKET LAPIS
Pretty colour which dyed my hands as I knitted with it. Its a central section of the afghan just completed so will unravel and use white yarn instead before washing! All in all a disappointing experience.

Blanket
Love this colour. But it dyed my needles blue. I’m concerned that it will run when it’s washed
