Good washable yarn
Easy to knit with, nice texture, splits easily and will pill eventually when washed but pills can be removed.

Wool-Ease
I bought Wool-Ease (the lightest weight) to make a 'Hudson Bay' baby blanket. Great range of colours. Yarn is soft and easy to knit, splits easily and I suspect will pull easily in the wash. I am going to try washing in a mesh bag.
