Nice Wool But Too Many Knots

Posted by Lorna Klassen on 2019 Aug 28th

I bought this chunky wool to knit a poncho for myself. Great colours, nice feel, knitting with Size 10 (American ) needles. But every skein has between 1-3 knots in it from breaks in the wool. That's why I rate it a 3/5 instead of a 4/5.

    Acrylic/wool yarn

Great fall colours! I, personally, prefer wool but for those who like this blend it's very soft and practical.

    Gorgeous yarn!

The colours in this yarn are Autumn colours, it is simply stunning in a long cowl that I crocheted. Very light and soft and love it. Had many compliments on it.

    Wonderful for socks!

Posted by Carol Godin on 2015 Oct 26th

I absolutely love this weight for hiking socks! It is soft, and easy to work with. I also like that it doesn't split like cheaper yarns do, while you're knitting with it.
