    1. Great Yarn star rating

Posted by Amy-Emmanuëlle Jutras on 2020 Aug 7th

The yarn is sturdy and very reasonably priced. I am so happy Yarn Canada supports the sale of local yarns. My only criticism would be for the color to be more stable between dye lots as this batch was quite a bit whiter than my last year's purchase that was more yellow (thus hard to match it up to finish my project). This works great for Aran sweaters and also as a yarn for natural dyes.

    2. Great for cables! star rating

This yarn isn't the softest, but it knits up very nicely and creates a lovely, traditional knitted fabric. Great for aran sweaters and cable work. Plus it's affordable.

Love this wool,so affordable. Nice colors and I love it for rughooking. So happy that the cost is easy on a budget ad that it’s Canadian!

    4. My number one choice in yarn. star rating

Posted by LaVerne on 2019 Dec 13th

This wool is a pleasure to knit with. I've knit almost two dozen items with it, and it is now my first choice for mitts, toques, socks, and wool sweaters. And if buying Canadian is important to you, this wool comes from a family run wool mill in New Brunswick.

Nice yarn to dye with. Looking forward to knitting blanket with it soon.

    6. Perfect for socks star rating

I bought this wool mainly because it's 100% wool and 100% Canadian.
I knitted six pairs of socks with it and the recipients love the texture, warmth and it's easy washing. Will be buying more!

    7. sturdy, rustic wool star rating

Posted by Unknown on 2019 Feb 5th

Great, hard-wearing yarn that softens once you wash it. It's woolen-spun, which means it's light but warm. I used this to knit a lopapeysa sweater!
