well built and versatile set!
this set is truly a joy to knit with if you're comfortable with/prefer using metal needles. they are very light, smooth and glidey, no catching at the joins, with a good size taper at the end which i've found helpful in my first lace project. the sizes are printed on the needles clearly. changing needles is easy with the keys provided and they feel strong and secure. each cord comes in its own sealable plastic slip with a key and stoppers, and they all fit in a larger plastic pouch with a button closure that fits inside the clear plastic case. the needles themselves arrive strapped to a card with sizes printed on top (9 needles from us sizes 4-11), however the card is flimsy and re-inserting the needles into their elastic loops is a bit of a pain, which is why there are plastic needle slots on both sides of the inside cover of the bag, 11 in total, with two larger slots at the end for misc storage. with everything tucked away there is plenty of room to store other things in the case, and there is a zipper on top. i'm so pleased with this set that i'm considering trying the cubics next!
