Thick and natural
I love the natural colour of this yarn. However, It is thicker than other 4 mediums I have used - even double the size, I had to reduce stitches significantly to get the size right, and pattern was designed for 4 medium. I didn’t expect this. I used 6mm hook to try and soften it up. The good news is it worked up fast. I also like the look - kind of like an Irish knit. I’m wondering if it would soften if I washed it. It will be a warm hat! The bad news is as well as being unexpectedly thick, it’s not soft or drapes or slides on my hook. I am crocheting family hats, and these are stiff.

Great yarn
I’m making a throw for my father for his birthday and it’s turning out beautiful! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because there are little spots of clumped up yarn that I have to cut off every once in a while but other than that, it’s really good yarn for the price.
