    1. Colour!! star rating

Posted by Knitter on 2021 Feb 18th

The colour in the picture showed a shiny kind of plum colour. I did expect it to be a little more mute in terms of its brightness. What I noticed from the colour was it's a bit duller but the colour is still gorgeous. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could because it doesn't bother me too much. Just make sure to know that there's no shine anymore.

      Finally found the exact color

    3. Great yarn, terrible name star rating

I love Bernat Blanket yarn. It's incredibly soft and squishy when it's knit up.

It has zero give when knitting with it though. It tends to trigger my carpel tunnel, so I plan extra time and take lots of breaks.

Also, I feel Bernat is not very good at naming their yarns. I wouldn't call this purple or plum. It's actually burgundy and, at least on my screen, it looks just like the photo. The fact that it's called purple plum had me agonizing over ordering it online. It looked right, but the name was deceiving. I really needed yarn in the red family, and I'm happy with what I got.

I really like Bernat Blanket Yarn , however knots to add more wool to the ball is annoying. The price this Blanket yarn is 9.99 too. So that’s a great savings . So if I can get the colours I need there I will

    5. Soft and colorful star rating

The Bernat Blanket yarn is wonderfully soft. Easy to work up into beautiful projects. The Purple Plum color is a very deep burgundy. Looks great in natural and artificial light.

    7. nice, but some problems star rating

This yarn is a lovely color. It worked well for some of my projects. However,
it was discolored in some places due to careless packaging. ..the wrap was glued to the yarn and the glue would not come off the yarn. Also, not all of the yarn was the same shade of purple plum, which made for uneven consistency in my project.

I am making a throw with it now using very large needles. It is knitting up very quickly. Extremly soft chenille like yarn. I may have to make a few throws. Everyone in my family will want to use it.

I love this product but find it hard to locate the middle strand in most balls. Makes awesome afghans!

    10. Bulky Blanket Yarns star rating

Posted by Unknown on 2018 Oct 22nd

The bulky blanket yarn is lovely, so soft and warm. It is also easy for me to use. My only complaint is that I've come across a number of knots (in the many skeins of yarn I've used) when I've been winding the yarn into a ball. So I have to cut them out and wind in new balls on my projects. It would be preferable to be able to work through the entire skein of yarn without having to stop and cut.
