    Rich autumn color and weight

Made a beautiful hat in about 2 hours on 8 mm needles using: cast on 42 sts. K on right side, P on wrong side for 28 cm then K 2tog to 21 sts. P 2 tog (K one centre stitch) to end. Draw yarn through remaining sts with blunt needle and sew up back seam. Add large pom-pom if desired. Easy.
