    Scarfie yarn in cream/silver

The colours in this yarn are beautiful and blend into each other so nicely. It is soft and easy to work with. I was very pleased with the result.

    My New Favourite

Posted by Hooked on Crochet on 2020 Jan 31st

What a beautiful blend of colours. This yarn is more like an hombre, slowly transitioning from cream to dove gray and back. Despite being a roving yarn, I found almost no variation in size. It is extremely soft and a delight to have on your hook. I made two adult sized hats from one skein. I wish Lion Brand would expand the number of colours available.

    Re: my first review

I wrote about the flawed yarn in previous review. I ended up contacting Lion Brand through their website and they are replacing my whole order. They responded very quickly. I do love the colour and feel of scarfie and look forward to giving it another shot.

    Would've been great but....

Posted by Rose on 2019 Feb 5th

The first ball of scarfie I have ever used started out ok but as I got to the middle of the ball the yarn was really flawed. It went from super bulky roving type yarn down to fingering weight and everything in between . Completely impossible to maintain an even gauge and it looked terrible. Taking the work apart is a nightmare. Really poor quality control on Lion Brand's part. I won't be buying their products anymore.
