I love this yarn for scarves, sweaters and blankets.

    Great yarn

It's very quick to work up and looks great as a finished piece. One skein can create a full cowl, scarf, or several headbands.

    Great yarn but....

Posted by Deborah Bottcher on 2020 Jul 21st

I have used this yarn for several projects and love working with it. Unfortunately, the batch I received this time had 2 skeins out of 5 that were not so great. They were super thick in some areas, and then thin as thread in others. Made it difficult to work with. I was surprised because usually this yarn is not like that and is consistent throughout the skein.

I do enjoy working with this yarn. Unfortunately when you make a error and try to pull out it is extremely hard to do.

    Lion Brand Scarfie yarn

Posted by Linda on 2016 Jul 19th

I enjoyed the finished products I made with this yarn (a beanie and infinity scarf). I am however, quite new to crocheting and a still getting my chops down. This means frogging my work, sometimes more than once. It is next to impossible to rip this stuff apart once it's been stitched together. If you are an experience crocheter this probably won't deter you (and it's not meant to). Just wanted to share my experience with Lion Brand Scarfie yarn.
